Ten of Pentacles upright meaning
An old man in a patterned robe sits at the gate of a family estate, two dogs at his side. Under the archway a man and a woman talk, and a child holds onto her, reaching toward the dogs. Ten pentacles are laid over the scene in the shape of the Tree of Life. A castle stands behind them.
Upright, the card means the long view. Family, inheritance, a home that holds three generations, money that keeps a household safe. In love, it is marriage in the oldest sense: two people building something meant to be passed on.
It is a settled card. Not a thrill. People who want fireworks are sometimes disappointed when it comes up. People who want something that stays usually are not.
