Seven of Pentacles upright meaning
A young farmer leans on his hoe and looks at a green bush with six pentacles growing on it. A seventh lies near his feet. He is not working. He is standing still, tired, checking whether all this effort is turning into anything.
Upright, the card is the pause in the middle of a long job. You have put in the work: the hours, the money, the care. The harvest is not ready yet. That is not failure. Most things worth having take a season, and this card shows the season clearly.
It is also a card of assessment. The farmer is counting. Is this plant worth the water? Should I keep going, or plant something else? The card does not answer for you. It asks you to look honestly at what is growing before you decide.
