Guide Spell casting cost: what spell casters charge, and what you are actually paying for

Candles, herbs and petition paper laid out on the altar before a casting

You have a quote in front of you, or a price with a line through it and a timer underneath, and you want to know whether it is normal. The honest spell casting cost for one candle working is low, because the materials are cheap. You are paying for the evening, the eyes on the burn and the report. Elsewhere the same work is sold from a few dollars to several hundred, and most of that spread is positioning. Here the whole list fits on one line: $19, $29, rush $9 more, a written reading $19 or $37.

I am one of the people charging for this, so take what follows as a seller’s account and check it against anyone else’s. What a casting is made of and what each part should cost, why love is priced highest, how a quote climbs after you have paid, a checklist for reading any quote, my own prices in one table, and the few cases where I would tell you to keep your money.

How much does spell casting cost in 2026?

For one candle working, anywhere from a few dollars on a marketplace to several hundred on a private site, and it is the same candle. Mine is $19 for a Single Candle, and $29 for a Double Casting, two candles in one night, with Same Day Rush at $9 more.

What you are quotedWhat it usually isWhat to check
Under $10A single candle on a marketplace, where every price is public and compared with the shop next doorWhether anything comes back. At this price the photograph is often the first thing cut
$15 to $60The honest range for one candle with a photograph and a report, and also the funnel price on private sites, anchored against a struck through numberWhether the struck through price was ever charged to anyone. It was not
$60 to $200A multi night working, a practitioner with a waiting list, or a price set by how you soundedAsk what happens on each night. If the nights cannot be described, the price is for the conversation
$200 and upA package, nearly always sold after a long chat about your situation, often with a block or curse includedWhether the price existed before you told your story. Ask for a page where it is written

Notice what is missing from that table: the cost of materials. A chime candle is under a dollar, a seven day glass candle a few, oil and herbs pennies per working, paper and cord nothing worth counting. Everything above a few dollars is time, skill, attention and positioning, and only the first three are worth paying for.

How much does a love spell cost, and why is love priced highest?

The same as any other candle working, when the person is honest, because a red candle costs what a green one costs and the evening is the same evening. Love is priced highest in this trade for one reason: it is where people are most frightened, and a frightened buyer does not compare. Mine is $19 or $29 whatever the candle is for.

The candles I burned this autumn for love and for rent took the same hour each. What changed with the price was how many nights, never how carefully. A love working uses a red chime candle, olive oil, brown paper and red cord. A money working uses a green one, the same oil, the same paper and a coin. If somebody tells you love work needs rarer materials, ask them to name one.

If you want to pay nothing at all for love work, a honey jar spell costs a jar of honey and a tealight a week, and I have told plenty of people to make one instead of ordering from me. What a candle can and cannot do for love is in do love spells work, and the answer does not get better with the price.

What are you paying for? A casting, line by line

An evening of someone’s attention and what it produces. When the price is honest it covers six things: the candle and what dresses it, an hour at the altar with eyes on the flame, a photograph of the glass afterwards, a written reading of the burn, a reply to your questions, and a window to put it right. Materials are the smallest line.

What a spell casting cost actually buys: dried herbs, oil and a chime candle laid out on the altar cloth before the burn

  • The candle and the dressing. A chime candle, olive oil, a pinch of herb chosen for the work, brown paper, cord or a coin. A couple of dollars. Anyone charging for materials as a separate line is charging twice.
  • The hour at the altar. Someone sitting with the flame from the match to the last of the wax, because a candle lit and left in another room cannot be read. This is the part you cannot buy cheaper, and the part most scams skip entirely.
  • The photograph. Your glass, after the burn, on the altar it burned on. Evidence that the hour happened.
  • The report. What was set, how the flame stood, where the soot sat, which way the wax ran, what that tends to mean for your situation, what to do this week. The report is where the skill is, and it is why a $19 casting from someone who can read a candle is worth more than a $200 one from someone who cannot.
  • The reply. You read the report, you have questions, you ask them, you get answers. Included, not billed.
  • The window. A stated number of days in which you can have it re-cast or refunded. Without this line the other five are promises.

If a price covers only the first item and everything else costs extra, the extras are the product and the candle is the bait.

Spell casting cost red flags: the charges that mean walk away

Every one of these is about a payment you cannot get back. None of them is about candles.

  1. A curse or block discovered during the work, priced separately. The oldest script in the trade, and it arrives after you have paid once so you are already invested.
  2. Stronger materials, because their energy turned out heavier than expected. A candle is a candle. There is no premium wax.
  3. A fee to seal, close or finish something that was sold as complete. Nothing honest is sold half done.
  4. Protection, billed monthly. Protection you did not ask about, renewing on your card, is a subscription to fear.
  5. A price that exists only in direct messages and changes with how urgent you sound.
  6. A struck through number with a countdown. The $200 that is now $37 for the next six hours was never $200. The timer resets when you reload the page.
  7. Payment by gift card, crypto or a transfer to a person. The only reason to refuse a card is that a card can be reversed.

If you have already been told you are cursed and quoted a price to lift it, read signs someone put a spell on you before you pay a cent. Most of what gets called a curse is a bad year, and the honest version of that work costs the same as any other candle.

Why does a spell casting cost go up after you have paid?

Because the first price was never the price. The ladder starts with a free reading or a small fee, then a bigger fee for a stronger working, then a fee to clear what the stronger working found. Each step is small compared with what you have already spent, and the shame of stopping does the rest.

What a real one does when a burn is bad is different, and you can tell them apart by this. The report says plainly that the candle fought, where the soot sat and what that means. If a second candle would help, that is a new order at the same price that was on the page before you started, and you can say no to it. If the work did not come back in the shape I described, photograph and report, it is re-cast or refunded inside thirty days at no charge. A second candle is sometimes the right call. It is never a surprise bill, and it is never urgent. The exact scripts a scam uses to climb the ladder are laid out in how to tell a real spell caster from a scam.

How to check a quote before you pay: the checklist

Five minutes before you pay saves the month after. Run it on me as well.

What you need

  • The quote in writing. A screenshot of the page or the message with the number on it.
  • The description of the work, in their words, next to the price. You are going to see whether they match.
  • A quiet five minutes before you pay, because after is when the ladder starts.
  • A card. Not a gift card, not crypto, not a transfer to a first name.

1. Did the price exist before your story?

If the number appeared only after you explained how long it has been and how much it hurts, the number was built from that. A price on a page is the same for everyone who reads it.

2. Does the description match the number?

An hour with one candle is a $19 to $60 evening. A working described as seven nights with rare oils should cost like seven nights, and if it is priced like one, it is one night described as seven. Believe the price over the adjectives.

3. Is it the same price for the next person?

Ask, in those words. An honest seller says yes without thinking. A dishonest one explains why your case is special.

4. What is included, named?

Photograph, written report, replies to your questions, a refund window with a number of days on it. Each of those is a word you can hold them to. Energy and blessings are words you cannot.

5. Is there a struck through number or a timer?

Then you are on a funnel page, and the real price is the lower one. Pay it if the rest checks out, and never let the timer hurry you.

6. What will your statement say?

A checkout that takes card, Apple Pay or Google Pay and shows a business name on your statement is a route back if something goes wrong. Mine shows SABLEWITCH and the receipt lands in your email the moment you pay.

7. What happens when the burn is bad?

The answer you want is that the report tells you, and the window still applies. The answer you do not want is that a bad burn means more work is needed, at a price.

8. Write the total down, and treat any second request as the answer

Whatever you paid is what the working costs. A request for more money after the candle is lit is the end of the conversation, whatever the reason given.

What my castings cost, plainly

One table, the same for everyone, and it does not change with your story.

WorkingPriceWhat it isWhen I would pick it
Single Candle$19One candle, dressed and carved, burned through in one sitting, photograph and reportOne named thing: one bill, one person, one door
Double Casting$29Two candles in one night, the second set from what the first showedStuck for months, silence already tried, or you cannot name the block
Same Day Rush$9 moreYour candle ahead of the queue that eveningWhen you want it first on the altar tonight
Standard reading$19About 900 words, written the same day, answering the question you askedOne real question
In Depth reading$37About 2000 words, going into the people around the questionWhen it stopped being a single question months ago

You pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through the checkout on this site. The receipt comes to your email as soon as you pay, the statement shows SABLEWITCH, and if you are in the EU or UK the tax is shown at checkout before you confirm. An order placed before 6 pm ET goes on the altar the same evening. Re-cast or refund within thirty days if what comes back is not what the page described.

What the price does not include is a promise about another person or a date. I do not guarantee an outcome, and nobody honest does, at any price.

Is a cheap spell a fake spell?

No. A chime candle and an hour of someone’s evening is a cheap thing to produce, and a low price can be an honest one. What matters is whether the person was in the room with the candle and can prove it. A $19 casting with a photograph you can read is real work. A $300 casting with a message saying it is done is a message.

The photograph is only worth something if you know what you are looking at, which is why I would read how to read a candle burn before paying anyone, cheap or dear. Once you can tell soot at the top of the glass from soot all the way down, you can tell a report written from a candle from one written from a template, and that is the only test of value this trade has.

When paying anyone is the wrong answer

Sometimes the right spell casting cost is nothing, and I would rather say so than take the order.

IfThen
You have a quiet hour, a candle and paperCast it yourself. The money spell and love spell guides are the full method, not a teaser
Someone told you that you are cursed and quoted a priceKeep the money. Read the signs guide above, cleanse with salt, and pay nobody who found the curse
It is about health, a court case, a pregnancy or a debt decisionA doctor, a lawyer, an accountant. Candle work does not replace any of them and I will not pretend it does
The person you want has asked to be left aloneNo price makes that work right. I will not cast it
You are not sure the situation can move at allA written reading for $19 costs less than a candle on a closed road

The mistakes that cost more than the spell

  • Paying the struck through price’s little brother. The $37 was the price all along. Paying it is fine. Paying it in a hurry because the timer said so is how the second payment starts.
  • Ordering from three shops in one week. Three evenings of someone else’s attention, three reports that disagree, and nothing you can read. One working, one cycle, then decide.
  • Paying to finish. The first payment bought the whole working or it bought nothing.
  • Paying with something that cannot be reversed. A gift card is cash in an envelope.
  • Buying protection monthly. Protection that renews on your card is the curse working from the other direction.
  • Treating rush as a stronger spell. It is a place in the queue. The candle is the same candle.

When I cast a money spell for you

Money is the one people apologize for asking about, and you do not have to with me. The method at my altar is a green chime candle dressed with olive oil, cinnamon and basil, carved with what you are calling in, your petition folded under it with a coin, burned through in one sitting the same day your order comes in. Then I photograph the glass and write you exactly what I saw, including when it burned badly, because that tells us something too.

  • Single Candle, $19, when there is one specific thing that needs to move. A bill, a payment, a door.
  • Double Casting, $29, when it has been stuck for months and one push will not do it. Two candles in one night, and I set the second from what the first showed.

You send your first name and the thing you want the candle to carry, whether that is a debt, a slow month or a business that has gone quiet. No chart, no birth date, and no story required unless you want to tell it. Order before 6 pm ET and the work is set tonight. What comes back is the photograph of your candle after the burn and the written report, and you reply with questions and I answer. Most people notice the first signs in the second or third week, usually the stuck part moving first: the payment that clears, the client who answers. The full turn comes within three lunar cycles. I make no promise about the outcome, and neither does anyone honest. If what comes back is not what you read on this page, I re-cast or refund inside thirty days.

Questions

What people ask about the spell casting cost

How much does spell casting cost?

Anywhere from a few dollars to several hundred for the same candle working, and most of that spread is positioning. Here a Single Candle is $19, a Double Casting is $29, and Same Day Rush adds $9. A written tarot reading is $19 or $37. What should never be part of a spell casting cost is a curse discovered halfway through that costs extra to remove.

How much does a love spell cost?

The same as any other candle working when the seller is honest, because a red candle, oil, cord, paper and an hour at the altar cost what they cost whatever the candle is for. Mine is $19 for one candle, $29 for two candles in one night. Love is where this trade charges the most, because it is where people are most frightened, and a love spell quoted in the hundreds is priced on fear. The candle is the same candle.

Why do some spell casters charge hundreds of dollars?

Three honest reasons and one dishonest one. Honest: the working runs over many nights, the materials are costly, or the practitioner has more orders than evenings. Dishonest: the price was set after you described how badly you wanted it. You can tell them apart by asking what the work involves, night by night, and whether the next person pays the same. If either answer is vague, it is the fourth reason.

Are cheap spells fake?

No. A chime candle, a few herbs and an hour of someone's evening is a cheap thing to produce, and a low price can be an honest one. What a low price cannot support is a working that supposedly runs for a week with rare materials, so when the description and the price do not match, believe the price. Judge by what is described and by what comes back, never by the number alone.

Is there a free spell caster?

There are people who offer a free reading or a free first casting, and most of the time it is the first rung of a ladder. Free arrives, a block is discovered, and clearing the block has a price that grows with each message. If you want a spell for nothing, cast it yourself. The guides on this site are the full method, and a candle and a sheet of paper cost less than a coffee.

What does the rush fee pay for?

Position in the queue, and nothing else. Same Day Rush is $9 here and it moves your candle ahead of the other work that evening. It does not buy a bigger candle, a stronger working or a longer report. Standard orders are cast the same day too, so rush matters only when the queue is long or you want yours to be the first thing on the altar tonight.

How do refunds work if I paid a spell caster by card?

Ask the shop first, inside its stated window. Mine is re-cast or refund within thirty days, by replying to the report, and a reading that brings nothing through is refunded too. If a seller has no window or refuses, a card payment for a service not delivered is something your card issuer can look at, which is why scams push gift cards and transfers. Pay by card through a checkout, keep the receipt, and the route back stays open.
