A good luck spell is a road opening and blockage clearing working. It is not luck as a lottery ticket. It is the road stopping being uphill in every direction at once: fewer small disasters, doors that stop closing for no reason, openings you can actually see and take.
Some people come to me with one thing that is stuck. Others come because everything is, and they cannot point at which part. That second one is what this is for. Below is how luck work runs, how to clear a bad run and cast a simple luck spell at home, how to read the candles, and what I do when someone asks me to cast it for them.
What a good luck spell does
Luck work has two halves, in this order.
- Clearing. A bad run leaves residue: the expectation that the next thing will go wrong too, and the small patterns that make sure it does. Clearing burns that off. The old name for this is blockbuster, and it is the honest one. It is removal, not decoration.
- Calling. Once the road is clear, luck is called in: small openings, good timing, the right person at the right moment.
Most home luck spells only do the second half and wonder why the luck does not stick. You cannot pour good luck onto a road that is still covered.
Bad luck or something else?
Before you cast, look at the shape of it.

If the bad run began around a specific person or event, and it is focused on one part of your life, it may not be luck at all. That is return to sender territory.
How to cast a simple good luck spell at home
You need two candles, salt, a coin and about three hours, because the candles burn one after the other.
What you need
- One white chime candle for clearing.
- One green or gold chime candle for calling luck in.
- Salt, a small handful.
- A coin and three bay leaves.
- Paper, a pen, a pin and two fireproof plates.
1. Name the run
On the paper, write your first name, and under it the three things that have gone wrong most recently. Plain words. Do not dwell. Fold the paper away from you and put it under the white candle’s plate. Pour a thin circle of salt around that plate.
2. Clear
Carve clear down the white candle. Light it and say: what has been sitting on my road burns away. Let it burn down completely while you stay in the room. This is the part that matters most. Do not rush to the second candle.
3. Throw the run out
When the white candle is done, gather the salt, the folded paper and what is left of the wax. Throw them out the front door or into an outside bin. Wash your hands.
4. Call
On the bay leaves, write three things you want to go right. Put them under the green or gold candle’s plate with the coin on top. Carve your name and the word luck on the candle. Light it and say: the road is clear, and good things find it.
5. Carry it
Let the second candle burn down. Keep the coin and one bay leaf in your wallet. When you notice an opening, a yes, a call, a chance, touch them and take it.
How to read the two candles
The white candle tells you how heavy the run was. The green or gold one tells you how open the road is now.

How long a good luck spell takes
I do not give dates. The first thing you should notice is absence: a week without a small disaster. Then openings, usually small ones first. When both candles burn clean, that shift tends to show within one lunar cycle.
What to do after
- Say yes to small openings. Luck arrives small before it arrives big.
- Finish something you left half done. Unfinished things hold roads closed.
- Clear the clutter where you sleep. It sounds unrelated. It is not.
