An obsession spell holds someone’s attention where it keeps sliding off, so the thought of you stays when the fear arrives. It is for a person who comes close, feels it, and then goes cold without a reason you can hold. It does not create feelings that are not there, and it does not make anyone into someone they are not.
Avoidant is the word people use now, and it fits. You are not imagining the pattern. You are just on the wrong side of it. Below is what this work does, where it stops, how to cast a simple version at home, how to read the candles, and what I do when someone asks me to cast it for them.
What an obsession spell does
It works on the retreat, not the start. By the time someone asks for this, there is already something between two people. The problem is what happens after a good week: the cold turn, the late replies, the disappearing.
- The black candle is for the running. It burns down the retreat, the reflex to pull away when things get close.
- The red candle is for the pull. It holds the attraction that is already there, so it survives the moment the fear shows up.
- The red cord ties the two names. Not to take anyone’s will, but to keep the road between you from closing every time one of you flinches.
Both candles burn the same night. The order matters: first you burn off the running, then you set the pull.
Where an obsession spell stops
This is the honest part, and it belongs before the method rather than after the money.
It does not make anyone love you. It does not override a clear no. It does not turn a person who does not want commitment into one who does. If the road between you was never there, the black candle usually fights and the red one burns low, and that is worth believing.
If you cannot stop thinking about them, check which way the obsession runs before you cast. Sometimes the person who needs the work is you, and the right working is not this one.
Which working you need
| If this is you | The working |
|---|---|
| They come close, then go cold, again and again | Obsession spell |
| Nothing has started yet | Love spell |
| It ended and you want it back | Reconciliation spell |
| You just want them to write | Contact me spell |
| You are the one who cannot stop thinking about them | Cord cutting |
Before you cast: three honest questions
Is there a pattern, or one bad week? Obsession work is for a pattern: close, then cold, more than once. One late reply is not a pattern.
Is it their fear or their answer? Someone who pulls away and comes back is afraid. Someone who pulls away and says they do not want this is answering. Only the first one is the ground for this work.
How long has it been running? Weeks is one night of work. Months means the retreat is well worn, and it needs clearing before the pull can hold.
How to cast a simple obsession spell at home
You need two candles, red cord and about four hours, because the candles burn one after the other.

What you need
- One black chime candle for the running.
- One red chime candle for the pull.
- Red cord, about a forearm long.
- Paper and a pen. A photo of them, if you have one, is a good addition.
- A pin to carve with, and two fireproof plates.
1. Write the petition
Write their first name, and under it one sentence: the thought of me stays when the fear comes. Nothing about what they must do or feel. You are asking for attention to hold, not for a script.
2. Carve the candles
On the black candle, carve their name near the top and one word for what makes them run near the bottom, if you know it. Fear. Distance. The past. On the red candle, carve both first names, theirs and yours, close together.
3. Tie the cord
Fold the petition toward you. Wrap the red cord around it and tie three knots: one for them, one for you, one for the road between you. If you have a photo, fold it in with the petition, image facing in. Set the tied petition under the red candle’s plate.
4. Burn the black candle first
Light the black candle and say once: what makes you run burns down here. Stay with it until it has burned down completely. Do not light the red one until the black one is out.
5. Then set the pull
Light the red candle and say their name, then: you stay with the thought of me. Let it burn down. Never leave either flame alone. If you must step away, snuff the flame and relight it when you are back.
6. Afterward
Keep the tied petition somewhere close to where you sleep. If you ever want to end the working, cut the cord between the knots and bury the pieces in two different places.
How to read the two candles
Read the black candle first. It tells you how strong the retreat is. The red one tells you how much pull there is to hold.
| What you see | What it means |
|---|---|
| Black candle burns out clean and fast | The retreat was cut. Their pattern is shallower than it looked. |
| Black candle fights, smokes or leaves soot | The pattern is older than you think. Expect it to take more than one night. |
| Red candle burns tall and steady | There is real pull between you, and it is holding. |
| Red candle burns low and weak | The pull is thinner than you hoped. Worth knowing before you invest more. |
| Red flame splits in two | Their attention is divided. Someone or something else is in it. |
| Red wax runs toward your side | They lean toward you when the fear is off. |
| Either candle goes out on its own | Blocked for now. It needs a second working, not a bigger candle. |
How long an obsession spell takes
I do not give dates. What you are watching for is a change in the pattern, not a grand gesture: a cold spell that ends sooner than it used to, a message after a good day instead of silence, a retreat that does not happen at all. If the black candle burned clean, that change tends to show within one lunar cycle. If it fought, the pattern needs a second night before it loosens.
While you wait, do not chase. Chasing is what feeds the retreat. Meet warmth with warmth and distance with your own life.
When I cast it for you
At my altar it is the same structure, done properly: two names on red cord, the black candle for the running and the red one for the pull, both burned the same night. You get a photograph of both candles and a written report of what they did, what I read in them and what to watch for.

- Single Candle if the pattern is recent and you want it interrupted.
- Double Casting if this has been running for months. The first night cuts the retreat, the second sets the pull.
- Forever and Lasting if you want it held across a full lunar cycle rather than fired once.
You send first names, yours and theirs, and roughly how long the pattern has been running. If the road was never there, the report says so instead of selling you a second candle.
