Two of Cups upright meaning
A young man and a young woman face each other, each holding a cup, as if they are about to exchange them or make a toast. She wears a wreath, he wears a garland. Between and above them floats a staff with two snakes wound around it, topped by a winged lion's head. A house sits on a hill behind them.
They are the same height, looking at each other directly. Neither is reaching more than the other. Upright, the Two of Cups means mutual feeling. Not one person hoping and the other deciding. Two people who want the same thing and are both saying so.
It is the card of the first real date, the first honest talk, a pact. It is small compared to The Lovers, but it is also simpler. There is no big choice here, only a meeting.
