Three of Cups upright meaning

Three young women stand in a circle in a garden, each raising a cup above her head. They are dancing. At their feet are fruit and gourds from the harvest. Nobody is in charge and nobody is left out.

Upright, the Three of Cups means something worth celebrating, and other people are part of it. An engagement, a reunion, a party that goes well. Friends who show up for you. A relationship your circle is happy about.

It is a social card. Love here is not hidden away. It is out where people can toast it.

Three of Cups reversed meaning

Reversed, the circle is crowded. Most often, in a love reading, it means a third person: someone flirting with your partner, an ex who still has a foot in the door, or an affair.
